I ordered through Too Good To Go and had a mixed experience. The pickup window didn’t match the restaurant’s hours 12:30-5:30but they didn’t opened until 4 PM. The app wouldn’t work when I arrived at 5:30 PM—even though I was charged. The server asked me to wait until 6:00 PM to see if it updated, but it never did. Staff made a phone call to the owner & finally they let me take my order. Food was okay: yellow rice, cabbage, and jerk chicken. The cabbage was more pickled than I prefer, and everything else was decent but not standout. Overall, I don’t feel this meal would be worth $20+, but for the ~$7.71 Too Good To Go price, it was relatively fair. I’m willing to give them another try and hope for better service and a more flavorful experience next time.
I used an app to place my order. The establishment was locked. I knocked on the door and the gentleman explained to me what I did wrong and explained the correct way to utilize the app after I made a mistake. He was kind and I am looking forward to tasting this food. Food is tasty as hell. Will definitely be back.
