The service was awesome. The food was even more amazing. My family enjoyed it so much.
We are vegetarian and had a wonderful experience!! Lots of options and everything was delicious. Large portions. Fresh and flavorful and light! The guacamole was flavorful. The eggplant dish was unique and loved the sauce. Different from the usual Mexican fare. Highly recommend!!
My family and I (From CT) were in New Orleans for my cousins wedding and my Father had found this place as he was looking for somewhere to eat on Friday (05.15.2026). We walked 2 miles from our hotel to this restaurant and it was so worth it! The staff is extremely friendly, the food is phenomenal and the 3 of us loved it so much, we made reservations to bring the rest of family (party of 8) for lunch the next day! So much flavor and love go into every dish! We had ceviche, empanadas, paella, tres leches, plantains etc and everything was made to perfection. We are all Puerto Rican and this is one of the best meals we have had. If we are back in NOLA, we will be coming here again!
My sister and I had dinner at Maya’s and the atmosphere was cozy, lively, the kind of spot you want to enjoy with friends. The food, though, was a bit hit or miss for us. The guac needed more salt and the chips were just okay. I wouldn’t order the seafood paella again, but the chicken enchiladas were delicious and easily the highlight of the meal. Overall still a nice evening, just not everything landed for us.
Visited for the second time, and once again, the food did not disappoint! Each dish was packed with flavor, the menu offers so many options, and the charming décor adds to the experience. Plus, the place has so much history. It’s a must-visit!
