One of my favorite restaurants in New Orleans! I made a reservation through OpenTable and went for breakfast. I was so impressed by how organized and well-staffed they were. First, a gentleman showed us to our table, then a server came right away to take our order. A young lady was constantly checking on our water and refilling our glasses, another gentleman came to clear our table before we started dessert, and even the manager came by to check on how we were enjoying the food. WOW! So much attention to detail, great professionalism, and delicious food! I honestly can’t complain about anything. Everything was wonderful, and I can’t wait to come back on my next trip to New Orleans!
I celebrate my birthday with my wife and a couple friends last Sunday at Brennan's. I cannot overstate how fantastic this experience was. We arrived dressed nicely as per the restaurant's requested dress code. The atmosphere was elegant and relaxed. After a coctail at the bar, we were led to our table. Every sip, every bite, and all the service was top-tier. My wife ordered turtle soup (I had to try a bite), WOW! For something I wouldn't think to try, it was amazing! My friend and I ordered the Chef's Tasting Course. Again, AMAZING! Also... The Bananas Foster was INVENTED THERE and was GREAT! Lastly, the service was extraordinary! They made our entire table feel welcome, and made me feel special on a birthday dinner!! If you have the chance to dine here, it's a must!
If you're visiting New Orleans, **Brennan's is an absolute must!** From the moment we walked in, the spectacular food, elegant ambiance, and top-tier hospitality made our first visit to the city truly unforgettable. The entire staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel like honored guests from start to finish. You can genuinely feel the pride and passion they put into every detail of the dining experience. One thing you *have* to order is the **Bananas Foster**! Brennan's is home to the original recipe, and the tableside preparation is an experience all on its own. The staff not only prepares it flawlessly but also shares the fascinating history behind the iconic dessert, making it both delicious and memorable. One detail that really stood out to me was the level of service. One of my biggest pet peeves at restaurants is when dishes are brought out one at a time, leaving some guests waiting while others eat. That was definitely not the case here! More than four team members came to our table together to serve every plate and drink at the same time. It was seamless, thoughtful, and made us feel like royalty. Every aspect of our experience exceeded expectations. Brennan's isn't just a meal—it's an experience filled with exceptional hospitality, incredible food, and genuine care for every guest. Thank you for making our first trip to New Orleans so special. We can't wait to come back!
A classic and deserved. Picked it for dinner to celebrate my son’s 21st birthday and was perfect, they make a big deal of it, sash on table, birthday apron and staff recognition. Food was great, gumbo a must and of course had to have the famous bananas foster that they originated, got full story while they were preparing. Great experience!
A New Orleans classic, and well deserving of the title. Last week saw my second and third visits to Brennan's for brunch and then bubbles in the courtyard respectively, with these two visits coming just over a year since I first went. Brilliantly, standards were every bit as high as they were when I first went. The environment, the ambiance and the service were all fantastic, with wonderful attention to detail. For brunch, I couldn't make up my mind what to have, so took full advantage of their classic brunch menu, which offers smaller portions of a selection of their classics. Each course of we superb. Highly recommended, and I'll certainly be back next time I'm in the city.
