Red Dog Diner
New Orleans

Cute restaurant, friendly service and great pancakes. I ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, biscuit, and a regular pancake on the side. It was all really good.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ While visiting New Orleans, we found ourselves at Red Dog Diner and were glad we did. The menu had plenty of unique options, making it tough to decide what to order. It’s always nice to find a place that offers a little something different instead of the usual tourist fare. I went with the Shrimp Carbonara, and the portion size was impressive. The dish was loaded with large, juicy shrimp and packed with flavor. It was one of those meals that looks great when it arrives and somehow tastes even better once you dig in. The service was quick, friendly, and kept everything moving smoothly, which was appreciated after a day of exploring. My only minor critique—and this is purely personal preference—would be that I would have preferred the shrimp tails removed. It certainly didn’t take away from the meal, though. In fact, it led to one of the funniest moments of the trip when I squeezed a tail to remove it and accidentally launched it across the table toward one of my buddies. Thankfully, my aim was terrible, but the table got a good laugh out of it. Great food, generous portions, fast service, and a fun atmosphere. If you’re looking for a solid meal while in New Orleans, Red Dog Diner is definitely worth a visit.
Food was amazing and the service was even better. Alana (she also goes by Lettuce) was so fun and gave great recommendations! The crab dip was soooo good and their Holistic Adderall vanilla sweet cream coffee was perfectly balanced!
Went here before the Irish Channel Parade . Wait was only 30 minutes (if that) around 10:30 AM. We had the Corned Beef Hash, Blueberry Pancakes, and the John Smith. Everything had great flavor and large portions! The restaurant is larger than it looks with a back portion. A great stop on Magazine street!
Fantastic Restaurant - The food is incredible! We loved the fried green tomatoes! We had a group of 6 adults and everything we had was amazing. It was crowded and we had to wait 40 minutes but it was definitely worth the wait. The only issue is that the seating was extremely uncomfortable - painful.
