We are definitely coming here again! The food was perfect, clean plates all around! The blue cheese flan is a must try. Great service and we loved the casual dress code. If I lived in the area I would definitely make this my neighborhood spot!
Such a memorable brunch with friends from Australia. Nice jazz music in the background, scrumptious food and drinks and wonderful service by Chris! The best shrimp and grits I have ever had!!! We also had the tomato and peach salad, chicken and sausage gumbo, smoked salmon on brioche and huevos ranchero :)
Highly recommend making a reservation for Atchafalaya as waits for a table can easily reach up to an hour. For appetizers, we got the boudin, which was incredibly flavorful and a great way to start the meal. My girlfriend had the red beans and rice with fried chicken for her main, and it was absolutely fantastic — comforting, rich, and perfectly done. I went for the duck hash, which was equally great with bold flavors and a satisfying balance. For drinks, I had the Pimm’s Cup and the Spring Thyme, both of which were excellent. My girlfriend had the Garden Spritz cocktail, which was especially refreshing. We also each had a latte to round out the experience nicely.
This place was amazing. We were there on a Saturday for brunch. No live jazz band, but a nice stream of music playing. The food was outstanding. We had the fried green tomatoes with crawfish tails and remoulade sauce 😋 the shrimp and grits this was the star of the meal. We also had the duck hash and waffle it was all very good. Our beverages were strawberry mint Margarita, mimosas and a duck fat Sazerac 👌🏽
If you are in New Orleans you HAVE TO COME HERE! I was in town with some colleagues for a nursing conference and was eyeing this place before we even touched down in New Orleans. Thankfully we were able to make a same day brunch reservation. The shrimp and grits are to die for. The Gumbo was immaculate!!!! Not salty either which was something I found to be the case for a lot of other restaurants in New Orleans!! The fish was soooo fresh I could taste the salt water it came out of. The cocktails here were amazing as well I had the spring cocktail. The desert was amazing too the tres leches bread pudding was my absolute favorite ! Next time I’m in New Orleans I WILL BE BACK!
