The experience was upscale and professional from beginning to end of my dining experience. I was introduced to a new variety of Hendricks Gin that was the perfect amount of sweet to spice, in a SHAKEN not stirred martini with a a whisper of dirt and a citrus twist. Should be called Peace of Mind. I ordered the Burger, fries and bread, because I’m a pay my own bills lol, the chef recognized a Foodie and sent the beef tartare which melted like butter and Marinated Olives with a combination of flavors that took these olives a elevated level. I’ll say if you are a burger connoisseur like me, then make your way here, it was so good I told the chef to RAISE the price. I was an amazed how the team staffed handled everything. The bartender and server took turns working the host stand giving the manager time to walk and speak with tables and even have time to come and check on a single diner like myself. This is the level of hospitality that is missed throughout New Orleans, Happy Chef creates HAPPY FOOD, Happy SERVERS create dining memories which show the Management is providing a Positive work environment. I will definitely be back.
Le Moyne never disappoints. The food was outstanding, and the service was exceptional. Raul was an excellent waiter—attentive, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience feel effortless. We started with the bone marrow, crab meat au gratin, and octopus, and every dish was incredible. For my entrée, I had the Duck Confit, which was perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. To finish, we shared the lavender crème brûlée and the blueberry dessert, and both were the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. Easily one of my favorite restaurants, and I can’t wait to come back.
We had a spectacular time here! Todd and Tim were wonderful. They took wonderful care of my family and we had a wonderful time celebrating a graduation and birthday. The food was truly phenomenal, some of my best bites of the year. I tried steak tartare for the first time here and it was wonderful. I will absolutely be back!!!!
Amazing experience. Had the bone marrow, duck and steak. Our little one loved the bone marrow and ended up eating half of it. The service was phenomenal and they had no issues with an infant eating there! I felt the duck was truly devine!
November 2025: Le Moyne bistro serves classic French food. The food was good, but not great. My expectations were high best on reviews, so I walked away slightly disappointed both with the food and service. For example, the bread was served without small bread plates, we had to put bread on the table cloth. It is a small detail, but felt lacking for a top rated restaurant. Note that bread was 8 dollars, otherwise bread was not served with the meal. We were not asked if we were there for a special occasion. We were. They did not ask, we did not tell. The music was Michael Jackson from start to the end of our dinner. The atmosphere would have been more special if the music was either French or New Orleans jazz. Everything was just so ordinary. I would not recommend this restaurant for a special occasion. I had blue crab appetizer, shrimp bisque, duck confit, and chocolate mousse. Shrimp bisque was a bit oversalted. The other dishes were fine. Overall experience not as good as I hoped.
