Food was seasoned very well. The Salmon Salad “Awesome” large portion. Shrimp and Grits w/creole sauce on the side and homemade honey biscuit. “OMG” could have taken a dozen home. Shrimp was tasty, grits could be a little creamer. Meal assembled nicely. Shrimp Poorboy was plentiful. Service was quick and server was ok. Food high warm. Would patronize this establishment again.

On our first night in NO, we wanted to find some great authentic Creole cuisine. I struggled figuring out what to order, and decided to get the Taste of NOLA, which included Jambalaya, Rice & Beans, and Gumbo. The first two were fantastic, but the gumbo was not so impressive. The meal also came with fried green tomatoes and a homemade biscuit. Very filling and certainly a great meal! My friend had the blackened gator which he really enjoyed.

We came here for brunch, barely making it, lol. They stop breakfast items at 2 pm. It's a small Cafe but we didn't have to wait to be seated. Our server was nice. Our food was good. We had a few first time tries here: beignets- I liked & breakfast shot, not bad. The alligator bites were kind of dry.

Had a great meal at Zesty Creole! Everything was packed with flavor and truly tasted like authentic New Orleans comfort food. The gumbo was absolutely delicious — rich, warm, and full of soul. The jambalaya was also very flavorful with the perfect balance of spices. And surprisingly, one of my favorite combinations was eating the biscuit dipped into the gumbo sauce… SO good! ✨ If you want hearty Creole food with bold Louisiana flavors, this place is definitely worth trying. 🎷🍲 PS : service was incredible and fast too!

Zesty Creole was a good quick stop. The portion sizes were great for the price, which I appreciated. I tried the bacon, egg and cheese croissant and a cheeseburger with fries, and both were good. It’s the kind of spot that works well if you’re walking by and want something quick, filling, and reasonably priced. Overall, I’d revisit, especially for a casual brunch or quick bite.
