Maybe I ordered the wrong thing 🤷🏽♀️ I got the seafood plate (shrimp, fish & crawfish egg rolls) with red beans & collard greens. The shrimp and red beans were really good. The greens had ZERO seasoning, 1 piece of fish was really good & the other tasted weird, the crawfish egg rolls made me so mad! They were bland as hell & I got no sauce and kept having to spit out shells. The service was really great though so I’ll probably try it again but this was incredibly disappointing. I’ve attached pics but I forgot to take them before I started eating, my bad!
Wonderful place to have a meeting or just dine. The food is tasty and freshly prepared. Very clean and Family atmosphere is inviting. Great REAL New Orleans Cuisine in our local neighborhood.
I was driving around town because I haven't been to the city since before. I needed to see and try to understand after. And then I needed a cool drink and a sit down. Not so many options here and this place was close. Got a soda and a side of the most legit tasting red beans and rice I've had since I've been here. Came back 2 days later for some greens (also amazing) and great chicken wings. If you're salt sensitive maybe ask for just a little sauce or get them unsauced and get a side of the hot sauce. It's great with those wings. I really hope this place thrives because it's great food, great people, and an invaluable resource to the neighborhood. Come show some love and get some great food.
Shrimp and grits was AMAZING! I stopped by after a Dr appt near by and I was not disappointed
We were dropping our son off to the National Guard post for him to prepare to leave for Basic Training 😭😭🪖🪖and we had some time to have breakfast with him, so we searched for someplace close. This gem popped up. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed with the warmest smile and greeting. The service was prompt , the food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming! If we lived closer we would visit often but since we can not , we recommend you do!!!!!!
