I went out searching for some authentic gumbo and i found it! The flavors were amazing. The portion size, i was very pleased with. I was full and had to take the rest to go. Thank you so much to the chef and staff.

Mr. Ed's was recommended to us by our hotel staff and it did not disappoint! Food seasoned to perfection and drinks with real "licka" lol! Definitely try the Hurricane and Rum Punch. First time trying chargrilled oysters and I ate everyone last one! The red beans and rice, snapper and jambalaya was our favorite. Our server Dawn was very personable, friendly and knew the menu. I only gave four stars because there was a long wait on the oysters and my second drink.

10/10 - Please go here for oysters and poboys! I tried both for the first time here. The charbrpiled butter and parm oysters were fantastic! I apparently love oysters never knew that about myself. They are great when you eat them with buttery French bread they serve them with. GAME CHANGER. I got the grilled chicken poboy. For something so simple I cannot tell you how delicious it was. The flavors were great, bread was super fresh and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Honestly cannot recommend enough. This place is so worth it! They have indoor and patio seating as well as a bar to sit at. We went here for lunch and there was no wait. Will have to come back someday!

Stayed at the Wyndham and received a $15 voucher for Mr. Ed’s. So glad we went-the food was delicious! My fish Poboy was fried too perfection and the bread was delicate & yummy. My husband had the Cajun pasta and loved it too. I think our favorite thing though was the Cajun eggrolls! I had never heard of such a thing, but I’m so glad my husband wanted to try them because they were so good!! Highly recommend you try them! Our waitress was kind and the service was fast.

We have been to NOLA many times but this was our first time trying Mr. Ed's. The restaurant was fairly empty with just one more table what's diners since it was just before dinner rush. The menu is the typical Creole and Cajun food. The service was attentive and friendly. My daughter wanted her pasta and sauce a specific way which they accommodated. I don't know what they mix their crab cake with but the flavor is not like the traditional one you would find in New England area which I prefer. Overall food was good, but portion and price I felt didn't have the same value as other similar places.
