Was hungry and walked past on a whim. I was with an oyster officiant; island girl that was raided on seafood. Her only complaint was that they weren't briney enough. However, the flavor profile, size, and cook was phenomenal. Rockefeller was amazing. The seasoning didn't over shadow the Oysters but my god it was good. I tried the Oyster juice and almost melted. I could have literally ate that alone. She also had ½ schell and Bienville. Those had an intense mushrooms flavor with a mushy texture. Wasn't the biggest fan. Bayou Platter sampler was great. It had all the delicious rice sides you could want. I indulged significantly. I liked the jambalaya but the Red beans and rice was a favorite of both of ours. It was seasoned to perfection. I assumed the shrimp would be large but they served baby shrimp. All in all delicious. Their oyster game is top tier. A jem on a sea of oyster establishments.

If you’re in New Orleans and looking for the best oysters in town, this is the place to go! Fresh, delicious, and absolutely worth the visit. And don’t forget to ask for CoB — she is amazing! Her service, recommendations, and friendly attitude made the experience even better. Enjoy!

We really enjoyed our experience at Felix’s on our first night in New Orleans. Our waitress Blake was so friendly and attentive, and made excellent recommendations across the board. We had the char-grilled oysters and crab dip for starters, and both were delicious. My friend and I each got the 1/2 po’boy + side, and thought it was both the perfect amount of food and the perfect way to sample multiple new dishes. My personal favorites were the fried fish po’boy and the étouffée. Despite being very full, we took Blake’s recommendation to try the bread pudding for dessert and were so glad we did. If you’re hanging out in the French Quarter, and especially on Bourbon Street, this was a great spot to stop into!

Turtle soup was fantastic and so delicious! The Seafood Gumbo soup was very flavorful. The oysters were very satisfying and my BLT salad with the blackened chicken was worth every bite! Beer was a treat with the food. The best part was our waitress “Fee” she was very attentive, extra kind, knowledgeable and very helpful with explaining questions we ask. She is amazing!! ~Leilani Corbin, VA

# Review for Felix’s Oyster Bar ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing experience at Felix’s! The chargrilled oysters were absolutely incredible - perfectly cooked with that smoky, buttery, garlicky goodness. Some of the best I’ve ever had! The service and hospitality were fantastic. Big shoutout to Darrin, who took exceptional care of us and made the whole experience memorable. His recommendations were spot-on and his service was top-notch. If you’re craving phenomenal chargrilled oysters with great service, Felix’s is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!
