My wife and I were searching for a good restaurant for the coolinary prefix experience and we found Baru Bistro & Tapas. We absolutely loved the entire evening. The hostess and our server were so nice. We had the burrata and the tuna tartar for first course, then the wagyu and pork chop for the second course, and tried both desserts. The portions were huge & insanely delicious. My wife did the wine pairing and thought it was well paired for each dish. Honestly an incredible experience, really cool atmosphere, and amazing service. We will definitely be going back!!!

Can’t believe I didn’t know about Baru for so long. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The restaurant itself is beautiful while still feeling cozy and comfortable. Service was excellent throughout the meal. Already looking forward to coming back many more times.
Got the pisco sour and it was great and refreshing. Churrasco steak was delicious. Sitting on the balcony was a very nice atmosphere and pretty view of the street
It was my first time trying Baru, and I was not disappointed. The food and service were amazing! My family and I shared small tapas as a family of five. Yes, they’re small, but it was plenty. We had the empanadas, a good vegetarian option, and they were excellent. We also had the chuzos, agillo, and whole fish, as well as chorizo sausage. Everything was cooked to perfection and well seasoned. The food came out quickly. Our server was so sweet and great at suggesting what to order. The drinks were good as well. I recommend getting the maracuyá.
