Everything here was five stars. The authentic building and decor, the service, the food, the creativity. I would recommend the catfish Benny and the Boudin! The softshell crab Benny and the Elysian Breakfast were also phenomenal. There is also a cafe attached with great coffee selection that is also serviced to your table if you want.
We had an amazing brunch at The Elysian Bar to celebrate my graduation, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect experience. The food was absolutely delicious, every dish was flavorful and beautifully prepared. What truly made our visit unforgettable was the incredible hospitality. The manager was one of the kindest people we’ve ever met. She took the time to give us recommendations for both the menu and places to explore around New Orleans, which made our trip even more special. She even surprised me with a celebratory cake for my graduation, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture. The atmosphere is just as impressive as the food. Whether you’re seated in the beautiful atrium or the elegant parlor, the restaurant is absolutely stunning. Every corner is charming and full of character. If you’re looking for incredible food, exceptional service, and a gorgeous setting in New Orleans, The Elysian Bar is a must-visit. We can’t wait to come back!
We had an exceptional experience at The Elysian Bar. The food was absolutely outstanding, every dish was delicious and beautifully prepared. The service was impeccable from beginning to end, and everyone made us feel genuinely welcome. We were celebrating my daughter’s graduation, and the manager went above and beyond by surprising us with a complimentary dessert, which made the occasion even more special. That thoughtful gesture meant a lot to our family. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful, with a charming atmosphere that makes you want to stay and enjoy every moment. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting New Orleans.
The Elysian Bar was truly one of the most beautiful places I visited during my trip. The atmosphere is absolutely stunning—elegant, charming, and the kind of place where you instantly feel like you’ve stepped somewhere special. What made the experience even more memorable was the kindness of the staff. I was traveling solo, and the hostess went out of her way to make me feel so welcomed. She even offered to take some photos for me, which meant so much and made the moment feel really special. And the coffee was incredible—honestly some of the best I had while I was in the city. It’s rare to find a place that is both beautiful and filled with such genuine hospitality. I’m so grateful for the experience and will absolutely remember my time there. ☕
One of my favorite bars I've been to. Gorgeous vintage classy interior with low lighting. Really unique bar and outstanding cocktails. The cocktails were all very unique and fresh and really intricate, the bartenders were super talented and the presentation was excellent. Bartenders were awesome and quick despite the drinks all being more complex. Prices were good, especially among all the $20 drink places these days. Stunning property.
