First time visiting New Orleans & we had Friday reservations for the jazz brunch/lunch. What a lovely, upscale, mellow atmosphere. Beautiful place settings. There was a trio singing/playing in the corner of the restaurant. Music was the perfect volume so conversation at the table could remain easy going. We had a wonderful server who recommended a new/seasonal first course; marinated peaches with basil & goat cheese. This dish was a highlight of our entire New Orleans trip! Our entrees were delicious too; eggs Florentine & lumache. Great wine & cocktail selection as well. We were not hotel guests but were so glad that we discovered the Hotel Saint Vincent & San Lorenzo for an out of the ordinary brunch experience! Highly recommend, especially for an "on vacation" treat!

Food was solid. Cool venue and very nice service. A little bit disappointed with the lasagna (which was my main course) but everything else - zucchini things, Caesar salad, burrata were all dynamite.

This is a very cute spot with a beautiful hotel setting. The bar attached to the hotel is especially nice, and they offer a small food menu if you arrive before the restaurant opens for dinner at 5 PM. We were there around 4:15pm so we sat at the bar and ordered some arnold palmers (great flavor and very attentive staff!) Overall, the food was good, though I’d describe it as more Italian-inspired rather than traditional Italian. The squid ink bolognese (black pasta) had an unexpected level of spice, which caught us off guard. We also ordered a Pork Tonnato that ended up being more like a cold pork salad with sauce... it wasn’t bad, just a bit unusual in presentation and concept. The Linguine Vongole (the ones with clams) had a great sauce, but it made the clams taste slightly too salty for what we expected from a wine-based dish. Either way, great flavor! The Olive Oil Poached Octopus was a standout... definitely recommend that one!!☺️ For dessert, we tried the cannoli and tiramisu. The cannoli was excellent and reasonably priced at $6. The tiramisu ($14) was just okay; some bites tasted off and some tasted extremely sour, so we didn’t finish it. It may have been an off batch, or maybe another inspired - tiramisu not exactly tiramisu taste. I am pregnant so I didn't really wanna risk getting sick from eating a dessert. A little sad bc it was my road trip snack back home! Service was attentive throughout, our server was great and cared about our overall satisfaction of the food being delivered❤️ The overall ambiance really makes the place worth a visit. I'd come back for the bar scene even if I can't drink (right when you enter the bar smells like fresh coffee) hopefully we go back and get to order some food from the bar (they have burgers and a different kind of menu).

One of the best hotel restaurants in the Lower Garden District/Garden District area. The appetizers were excellent and so were the main courses. We also enjoyed the cocktails as well. And, on top of the food, the drinks were exceptional.

For a small space, they grind! This kitchen was intimate but a well oiled machine of staff. Severs were friendly and most approached each table to mingle even if they weren’t catering to the diners. It was nice to watch the tables fill up as we dined and see the atmosphere go from slow roll to full steam. While I loved my meal and did adjust/add to fit my dietary needs, I felt staff might not’ve hit the mark completely here. Particularly the server, who seemed a bit preoccupied in the back and didn’t go into depth about each item on the menu when my food allergies were disclosed. Nonetheless, kitchen staff seemed to nail my requested adjustments on my main dish; and everything ordered was rich in flavor and plated beautifully. Lower lighting at the time of day I was there made it hard to capture, but I wasn’t there for the photos, anyway. Starters were the octopus and the apple, cucumber, anchovies. Octopus had an awesome kick to it. That savory sweet mix of the apple/cuc/anchovy though? Great first bite, also an amazing palette cleanser after the octopus. I’m going to add this to my recipe deck—this was such a ‘sleeper’ menu item! Entrees were prawn risotto (hang onto that bread basket they serve and sop up the sauce with the focaccia or mini sesame baguette!), and the linguini clam vongole (chicken added for additional protein and butter sauce replaced with oovo). House. Made. Pasta. Need I say more?! I won’t. Kitchen staff… thank you!
