Food was delicious Our starter was the colosal crab cocktail, it was a great portion of crab meat with 2 delicious sauces. The appetizer was big enough for 2. Our salads were fresh and big portions. My husband had the Caesar salad, the server brought out extra anchovy for his salad. Our main entry filet steaks were cooked perfectly. They melted in our mouth ! A true delicious ode to flavor! Amazing side of creamed spinach and asparagus.
Amazing dinner. Chophouse is attached to hotel I was at so wasn’t expecting it to be nearly as good. We ordered way too much but it was so worth it. Portion sizes are large and everything was cooked perfectly. Our server Andrea was excellent, we wanted to go back just to hang with her. Garlick Shrimp appetizer was perfection. The fish and steak were fantastic and so were the sides (baked potato, potatoes lyonnaise, roast asparagus and garlicky spinach).
Had an amazing steak Oscar here. Good portions for sides, we did creamed spinach and potatoes- both amazing and we had leftovers for our group of 4. Lots of wine and spirit options. Would advise making a reservation. Friendly and attentive servers. Clean bathrooms. In the heart of the French quarter - definitely one to put on your list.
Made a last minute reservation Thursday evening and was able to get in with no wait. Beautiful restaurant and the ambiance is everything. There was someone on the piano and singing as well and he had a great voice. Nicole was my waitress and she was amazing. Very kind woman and very helpful with it being our first time eating at the restaurant. I wanted my steak medium well, and although it was a little more on the pink side, i had absolutely no complaints. The lyonnaise was amazing and reminded me of the homemade potatoes my grandmother used to make. I would totally come back when I’m in New Orleans. Everyone was kind and the food was great.
Crab cocktail was really good. The steak was of good quality and perfect temperature, but unfortunately over seasoned (too salty) and that's considering I like my food salty as compared to many people. Onion rings were great, but I was not a big fan of the steak fries.
