Great location. We came for dinner and had a lovely experience. It is summer ... We are Floridians we can manage the heat but we sat inside vs the courtyard. The location and atmosphere is perfect it's like entering into a different world. Terrymica our waitress was welcoming and gave a wRm southern NOLA vibe and appreciation. I would give The Court of Two Sisters ten stars if I could! All the food was excellent! The service was friendly and on-point! The dining room is beautiful and the courtyard is gorgeous. The three course meal is a treat. We had a large party so we tried many dishes. We started with turtle soup and corn and crab chowder - bother were wonderful. The pasta, the filets, and the duck were excellent but the star of the night was the pork chop which was phenomenal!! We topped off the meal with bread pudding which was delicious! Our server, Jeremiah, was amazing!! This was the perfect place for a meal after a concert at Preservation Hall.
Visited for "jazz brunch" in Sunday. First off the food on buffet was fantastic! All types of great food and lots of choices. Absolutely no issue with buffet or food. The issue was the jazz didn't start for 15 or 20 minutes into our meal and then only played for 10 minutes and then band moved to outdoor courtyard. Service was terrible..the lady we had couldn't remember shit! Asked for straw 3 times and my son's drink 4 times. The only refills we received was from the male waiter as he passed by. Just before leaving our female server and another older male server were arguing and bickering with the young guy right in front of a room full of customers. Very unprofessional. And the lady street performer outside should be hired to do the jazz brunch inside..much better to listen to.
If you fear birds, dont go. The outdoor seating was nice but there were small birds flying and walking around looking for food to steal. I dont fear birds and they didnt bother me, but it could be for someone. The food wasnt bad and there were quite a few options. The wait staff was wonderful and kept my water filled and checked on me often. I got there before my reservation time but was still let in. The jazz band want fully playing but could be because i was there first thing and they werent prepared, not sure. I enjoyed it either way.
