Hidden gem, small sign on the street points down corridor to this little brunch spot. Pretty courtyard, but it was raining. Food was next level New Orleans cuisine, creative and delicious. Mediterranean flare.

A cute hidden gem, tucked away in a little courtyard. Sitting here you hardly feel like you’re steps from Bourbon street. The drinks and and food are impeccable. I only wish I lived here and could experience this place as a regular!

Courtyard dining . Very relaxing, very sweet staff. The menu is small but you get 3-5 plates for 2-4 ppl and your good. We had the poached shrimp (savory) , meatballs (delicious with Moroccan sauce/yogurt) , the ham sandwhich (great feaux- cacia style bread plus herbs and celery root remoulade). Our favorite was the Caesar Salad. Trust me a top 5 salad I've ever had ! Great vibe and you enter through a tunnel off Royal which blocks out the routine bustle and chaos that can occur in French Quarter.

Absolutely loved Patula. This place has a really fresh, elevated take on shareable plates — tapas-style, but with better ingredients, cleaner flavors, and portions that are actually perfect for the table. The courtyard seating is a huge part of the experience: relaxed but energetic, surrounded by plants and vines, with that very French/New Orleans feel of being tucked inside a beautiful building courtyard. Service was prompt, kind, and conversational without feeling overdone. We ordered the sweet onion dip, Caesar salad, poached Louisiana shrimp, meatballs, and jumbo lump crab cake. The sweet onion dip with dill and Zapp’s chips was a standout. The Caesar was more classic and well-balanced with boquerones, crunchy bits, and parmesan. The shrimp had a great tangy, almost Asian-inspired profile with peanut chili crunch and watermelon radish. The meatballs were excellent — tomato sauce, Moroccan spices, yogurt, and mint made for a surprisingly good combination. But the jumbo lump crab cake was probably the star: loaded with real crab, not filler, paired with lemon aioli, chicory, and turnip. Wine list was also excellent. I tried both rosé options — the G.D. Vajra “Rosabella” Rosé from Piedmont, Italy, and the Cyril & Jean-Mi & Eliot “Blouge” from Languedoc, France. They were very different from each other, but both were great selections. You can tell the team knows what they’re doing with the menu and wine program. Overall, really impressed. Feels like a newer spot that’s already dialed in. Great food, great service, great courtyard energy. We came here off an AI recommendation based on one of our favorite restaurants in Austin, and it absolutely delivered. Highly recommend.

Hands down the best meal in the city. The lettuce soup, the wine selection, and the flavors of the Middle East and Italy fused with New Orleans local fresh food sets this place apart. The oysters are always sweet and fresh. There is always something new and inventive on the menu for the season.
