Description
Travel to Frenier, a historic town on Lake Ponchartrain’s banks, and explore the Maurepas Swamp from above on this zipline tour. If selected, start with a direct transfer from your New Orleans hotel. Upon arrival, meet your host who provides safety gear and instructions. Lockers are available to secure loose items before beginning.
The adventure starts on a 60-foot platform, offering views of the Maurepas Swamp, Lake Ponchartrain, Frenier town, and the New Orleans skyline. The course includes five ziplines, two suspension bridges, and a unique spiral staircase made of cypress tree. The roughly half-mile course takes about 1.5 hours to complete.
While traversing the course, watch for alligators, turtles, snakes, deer, wild boar, raccoons, opossums, armadillos, egrets, herons, and other wildlife safely from the treetops.
