Evviva
New Orleans

Evviva, what can I say. Spent New Year’s weekend in NOLA and found this gem. The ambiance was warm and cozy with a golden glow and the cuisine was superb. One of our favorites was the Ink Braised Point Judith Squid (pictured here). Delish!
I don’t know, there’s just nothing that I didn’t enjoy about this place both times I’ve been (so far!). I had tender grilled bavette steak, and a crunchy, vinegary radicchio & endive salad. Scrumptious. The chef also sent out a plate of pasta with mullet. That humble, bony ‘trash fish’ reborn into delicious, skin-on elegance. Actually, the first time I went here for a happy hour drink, they also had a mullet offering.. that one was fried, with a yummy dipping sauce. The menu is constantly changing, but always interesting, adventurous and tantalizing!
Wow! Big flavors, great atmosphere, and a great meal with friends. The rotating menu was a winner for our Sunday dinner with friends. Highly recommended.
We got lucky getting a reservation here and we are glad we did! The food was very delicious! Loved loved loved the anchovy bread! Also tried the gulf shrimp and the fish when we were there. Both were also very good. We ended it with the chocolate budino which was very tasty. Overall great service and excellent food. It’s a very intimate setting to take a date to.
An absolute gem that easily stands out in an already star studded restaurant scene. The service was wonderful (example - the candle at our table blew out and was replaced shortly after with our drink refills.) As for the food - whoever said that money can't buy happiness has obviously not yet dined here. Every plate was wonderful with the lamb belly, scallop brandade, and grilled shrimp being the stars for us. Also the anchovy toast is a cult favorite for a reason. We can't wait for our next meal here.
