Wonderful! This location is inside the Riverwalk Mall. I'm visiting NOLA and really needed a massage. It was convenient and you don't have to take your clothes off but it was still really good like a full regular massage. Prices were very reasonable and I felt really good after. With all this walking in NOLA, it's worth it!
I walked in looking for a deep foot massage and decided to try Tao Spa. The massage started off strong—the man who began it was very thorough and applied deep pressure (almost too deep, but still manageable). Unfortunately, halfway through, a woman took over and the quality dropped off significantly. She didn’t apply much pressure at all and didn’t really address the tightness in my leg or calf. It felt like she was just going through the motions to run out the time, and I ended up leaving feeling only half worked on and pretty disappointed. I was really looking forward to a consistent deep massage, but the switch in therapists ruined the experience.
My wife and I went for a massage. We had the combo body massage and foot massage. The people we had were great and absolutely knew their techniques. We own a Thai massage business in Canada that has been in business for 10 yrs with 15 employees and we have had massages all over the world- and hundreds of them. These people were great. Now, I can't testify to all the employees obviously but the 4 people that worked on us were top notch - they knew their stuff. Strong recommendation.
We enjoyed a body massage and foot reflexology. Reasonable price for 1 hour. Extremely good massage. Very thorough and relaxing. They did not shy away from the work. Very professional and excellent communication. No wait to drop in. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a nice massage.
