I booked a room for my Amtrak vacation to New Orleans and I decided to try the Bistro before I left. POV: if you are going to honor vouchers and have a baseball team, band & teachers and cheerleaders eat, the kitchen staff had to step up. I was seated promptly and my server took my order. I did not have a voucher. The coffee came in a carafe, but it was not good coffee. The food took a good while. When the food finally came, the presentation was nice and therefore I expected hot food. No steam and the potatoes were warm; I ate half. I received 1 piece of toast, no butter, 1 slice of bacon. The orange was the best part of this $28 dollar breakfast. The exceeds my Jersey diners fee and my New Jersey breakfast is infinitely better. The omelette was good, but I was disappointed with the overall experience. I paid $8 for a hot latte in the Clarinet cafe. Very good.

The servers were professional and respectful. No problems with them! The food was awful, below my expectations for hotel breakfast. Our pancakes were raw, eggs oiley. Go anywhere else
