Begin your tour at Lafayette Cemetery, where your guide explains New Orleans funeral customs and early city history. Note that Lafayette Cemetery is currently closed for repairs, so this segment takes place outside the gates.
Walk through the Garden District to see historic mansions, colorful shotgun houses, and oak trees. Your first food stop features Creole fusion dishes influenced by Italian, German, Irish, and Afro-Caribbean cultures that shaped the city over 300 years.
