What a wonderful cafe to stumble into! Excellent collection of pastries, artisan sandwiches, and really fantastic espresso. Affordable prices for the quality.

This place has the best coffee in the French Quarter. All the other coffee shops in the area are over-priced and the baristas are rushing to make mediocre drinks. If you want a perfectly pulled shot and milk that isn't scalded, this is the place for you. The barista is a perfectionist and their chef rotates daily specials throughout the week. This is the place for those looking for a slower-paced, local vibe. It's not a restaurant with a consistent menu. It's not a chain coffee shop with a thousand options. They do a few things and they do them well. If you want a bubble-gum, cookie-cutter experience go somewhere else. :)

What a sweet little cafe! The woman working at the cafe was so friendly and helpful. There is a nice variety of sweet and savory choices and drinks for a light lunch, and the prices are very reasonable. There is inside seating and several tables outside in the lovely courtyard. I really enjoyed the relaxed and peaceful atmosphere away from the bustle of Royal Street.
