Great place for a real Louisiana Seafood Experience. We had a couple of “Hampers.” Seafood boiled to perfection. Washed it down with a bucket of Longnecks. Yum! Ate here with friends that came from out of town. They loved it too. We hadn’t been in several years and it was every bit as good as we remembered -worth driving over from MS. This is the place to take your out of town family for the real deal if they enjoy seafood. Very nice staff. Recommend you make reservations if you’re going at a busy time.
Always a great hole in the wall stop just outside of New Orleans. Excellent food and excellent service! Go see Jason and Jack! They will provide excellent service and superb food! I had the Rock-n-Roll shrimp poboy.
Absolutely delicious, and a local spot with a great environment and people. We were visiting from London UK, and it was worth departing late for Lafayette as our bellies got full, and the staff were awfully patient and kind for my husband's first crack at crabs in a seafood boil. The Lenten season brings out all the stops for a seafood boil, and Seither's was worth the wait in the rain to eat. I waited a long time to eat their tuna as well, and loved having it with the boil. The staff were attentive even when busy, and having live music was a bonus. The rain passed over, but it didn't matter because we would eat here in any weather. Already dreaming to go back, and when we do our first stop will be here from the airport if possible. Growing up in Southern California I have had my share of seafood, but Seither's and a seafood boil are a whole other ballgame. I used to come to the South during college breaks from abroad, and Seither's is just as I had remembered it...even better. Thanks for the hospitality, and patience when we struggled with finishing up our order!
Great place to come and eat some great Crawfish. They have live music 5-8 pm on the Thur,Fri, Sat. It popular. They have a special that is 3 lbs crawfish with a few potatoes and 1 piece of corn for $20, not bad. The boiled crawfish is $6.50/lbs. The eggplant with crabmeat is good too.
