The food and service were both excellent. Our group made multiple trips back to this spot. The staff was able to make recommendations based on preferences. The drinks were also very good. You will not be disappointed!

We almost skipped this spot because of the low ratings on Yelp — and that would’ve been a mistake! Everything was fantastic. The alligator appetizer was delicious, the red fish with crawfish sauce was next level, the drinks were amazing, and the service was outstanding. Sitting on the balcony overlooking Bourbon Street made it even better. Proof you can’t always trust the ratings —try the red fish, you can thank me later.

This place was amazing. First, it was ~8-9pm and I said, “Group, I don’t think anywhere is going to be open and have food.” And lo and behold, Cornet literally had a sign that said “We’re open and have food!” I asked if the balcony was open, and they escorted us upstairs, gave us prime seats right along the main drag. This was a Saturday night, mind you, and I couldn’t believe there were vacant tables. Our server came so promptly that we hadn’t even decided on drinks yet, but he was super patient. Then, we all had questions about the menu: does this come with that? Can I sub this? Our server was incredibly patient and kind with our stupid tourist selves. I told him that, though I am extremely lactose intolerant, I was gonna risk it and get the Pastalaya because it sounded like a good way to die. He looked me in the depths of my soul, and said, “Girl. Me too. I will talk to the chef and see what we can do.” They decreased the amount of cream, milk, cheese, and subbed oil for butter, and it was AMAZING!! The server said he was going to ask them to make him that version too. That’s why I look so excited in the pics! I can’t believe they were so accommodating. It came out quickly, correctly, we were all full, and you couldn’t beat the view or atmosphere. 11/10 recommend and can’t wait to go back

I don't normally go to a restaurant blindly but I'm glad I took a chance. The location was great with balcony seating with great views. The staff was more than welcoming and helpful. The food was great with really good portions. I will definitely make a return a priority.
