Edit 9/7: Groups of 3 or more AUTO gratuity. Wasn’t disclosed nor we were able to see the total due them only being able to split the total, not by item. This is THE place! Great atmosphere. The music was popping with the throwbacks. Food was beyond delicious. I had the salmon with the crawfish rice and my husband had the bulgogi. Both were phenomenal. Brittney was the best hostess. The staff was very hospitable. Such good vibes and the lighting for selfies in the bathroom was elite. Will definitely be back on my next trip to NOLA.
We had a great lunch at Sun Chong, an upscale Asian-fusion restaurant in the French Quarter created by Larry Morrow as a tribute to his maternal grandmother and her journey from Seoul to New Orleans. 🇰🇷⚜️ We started with the flavorful Etouffee Dumplings, then shared the Kimchi Lobster Pasta and Neno Fried Chicken. 🥟🦞🍝🍗 The pasta was rich and creamy with a delicious kimchi kick, while the fried chicken was crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. We really enjoyed the creative combination of Korean and New Orleans flavors. A unique and delicious dining experience in the French Quarter! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was a great atmosphere. As soon as we walked in we were greated by a really nice guy at the door. Our waitress was amazing. Service was excellent. The dishes we loved were the lobster pasta it has an amazing flavor profile. The crawfish fried rice is great we added the sweet chili sauce and it was even better. The crab ragoon dip and gumbo dumplings were really good. We didn't like the ettouffe dumplings and the glazed salmon. But the dishes we liked and the service is worth pushing to a 5.
With a reservation and getting there early we still had to wait. Place was packed so not the fault of them. Just long-winded conversations. Anyway, the host was super nice and so was our server. This was our first time trying this Blasian restaurant and we were excited. Highly recommend this unique place. Food was delicious. The "Gumbo Dumplings" and the "Etouffee Dumplings" were on point! The Gumbo was slightly better. My wife had the "Spicy Pork BBQ" which was excellent. I had the flavorful "Neno Fried Chicken". I'll tell you could eat that for days! So get your butt down here and be prepared to shock your taste buds!
The experience was nice. The manager seemed a bit aloof, but maybe he is trying to build an elite type of stigma? But the servers were super nice and nice and super friendly. The food was beautiful and flavorful. The drinks were unique and matched the energy of the dishes. I would go here again.
