Dinner at Marigny Brasserie had some real highs and one miss. The shrimp po’boy was a little underwhelming, but the glazed pork chop with corn completely redeemed the evening — succulent, flavorful and cooked beautifully. The boudin balls were a fantastic appetizer, crispy outside with a rich savory filling. Cocktails were on point too. The Sazerac was smooth and well-balanced, and the grapefruit cocktail was refreshing without being overly sweet. Ended things with the bread pudding and ice cream, which absolutely hit the spot. Light, airy, and not overly heavy the way bread pudding sometimes can be. Solid dining experience overall.
Food was amazing! Live musicians so talented. Can’t believe this find. Fried green tomatoes topped with crab were memorable.
Had some quick bites for lunch with friends. Everything is very flavorful, well seasoned, great cajun flavors. staff was great! Got the Cajun boullettes and fried green tomatoes, my friend on the sampler platter with Gumbo, red beans and rice and jumbalaya. Definitely recommended 👌
Very understaffed on a saturday. Our server was obviously overwhelmed. Food was ok. Gumbo was great but everything was salty. We ended up there for 2 hours bc our server took so long and had way too many tables. Coming from a party full of servers i really hate to make this review. Management where you at?
