Cane and Table
New Orleans

This gem was well worth the walk. I had an early dinner there on a Thursday evening and the courtyard was so relaxing. My server was very kind and helpful with recommendations. The food was incredible and my cocktails hit the spot. Will be visiting again to share with friends!
Absolutely the best meal, the best service and the best drinks. Love grabbing a bar seat whenever we are in New Orleans. The bartender made us a Painkiller with See the Elephant Amaro and Coruba rum that was phenomenal. Then we had some Coctel Camarones. Entree was the Fish Rundown which is a fried drum with crawfish. Just incredible. Then we finished the meal with a digestivo shot of some fun rum and amaro. Will 100% be back! Hopefully soon!
What a neat little spot. This spot has great, and I mean great, cocktails and a surprising Caribbean fusion menu that will knock your socks off. The restaurant it self has a rustic relaxed feel, and the staff is laid back, but attentive and friendly. I had a Thai inspired cocktail that truly surprised me. It captured the taste of peanuts while somehow utilizing gin as a base. The world never ceases to amaze. I ordered several appetizers, with the crawfish croquettes being the true winner. Culinarily I found the chefs ability to mix flavors profiles and create recipes to be a show stopper. My only complaint came from the pork which was too dry to eat. That’s not a chef creativity issue but more an issue on the line chefs not paying attention. Over all the food profile was stunning and I’d return in a heart beat.
First night of the French Quarter Festival found us at Cane and Table. Beautiful interior and a fine night for us on the generous patio. Amazing cocktail program yielded a top notch frozen pina colada made with a fresh young coconut crème. One dish not to miss is the CRISPY BRAISED PORK RIBEYE with Yucca Hash, Avocado, Tomato, Cucumber and Mojo Verde. The pork was melt in your mouth perfect and the combination of the yucca, avocado, and cucumber was a fascinating study in contrasting temperatures, textures and flavors. Charming, eloquent service was an added bonus. Wonderful meal!
Very informal place with great vibe and food! I was worried initially because reservation was easy compared to other places we’ve been to in NOLA, but gladly it turned out real fun. Waitress was genuinely cheerful and helpful, the patio seating was a delight and having a cat visit us a huge plus! Food was really great - sweet plantains were terrific, salad crisp and joyful, fish rundown great , and their take on steak Frits - very refreshing. We also like that they add 20% to ensure pay for servers - we still added a tip as appreciation to the server - she was great - but loved the approach
