12th trip here, almost everything in the last 7 years in NOLA, I come here and love it. Tonight included... Gotta have oysters and pretty much anything on the menu will be pleasing to the taste buds. Hope you enjoy like we do.
Superior Seafood is always phenomenal. Easily one of the best seafood restaurants in the state, much less New Orleans. Worth the drive out of the quarter if you're a tourist. Service was impeccable, Tink was amazing! Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious - and continues to be every visit!
Really enjoyed my visit to Superior Seafood. The charbroiled oysters were definitely the highlight — buttery, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The seafood tasted fresh, portions were good, and the atmosphere felt lively without being too loud. It’s a great spot for brunch, happy hour, or dinner with friends, especially if you want classic New Orleans seafood in a nicer setti
We dined at Superior Seafood & Oyster Bar for the first time after my cousin’s graduation, and we were not disappointed with our experience here! The inside decorum had an old school vintage style to it but it still looked nice. The service was standard but still nice. We got their Dozen Chargrilled Oysters ($32.00), Lunch Blackened Catfish Napoleon ($26.00), Pasta De La Mer ($34.00), Superior Cheeseburger ($23.00), & Risotto ($31.00). For drinks, I got their small Frozen Pomegranate Mojito ($12.00). Everything was so delicious! The oysters were really big and had a good mix of butter and cheese on it. The catfish had great flavor to it. The pomegranate mojito was one of my favorites. After drinking it, I regretted not ordering the large version. We had to street park as that was the only option available, but that’s expected in the St. Charles area. Aside from that, we were really satisfied with our time at Superior.
Had an amazing experience at Superior Seafood & Oyster Bar. This place really lives up to its name. The oysters were the star of the show—fresh, briny, and absolutely on point whether you go raw or chargrilled. Every dish that hit the table was packed with flavor, from the perfectly seasoned seafood to the rich, satisfying pastas. You can tell they know what they’re doing in the kitchen. The atmosphere is lively but still polished, sitting right along the St. Charles streetcar line, which gives it that classic New Orleans charm. It’s the kind of spot that feels just as right for a casual lunch as it does for a night out. Service was attentive, friendly, and kept everything flowing without missing a beat. Great food, great drinks, great energy—this is one of those places you’ll keep coming back to whenever you’re in New Orleans.
