This is one of my favorite restaurants for breakfast when in New Orleans. I love their "Not yo mama's hotcakes. They are corn cakes covered with an egg wash n bacon bits with scallions. They just melt in your mouth, paired with a hot cup of coffee. Sevice was excellent, friendly, great ambiance. We chose to sit inside due to the heat outdoors. We felt right at home, highly recommend.
I have absolutely loved this place for going on 10 years. Consistently delicious. Consistently friendly. And, consistently One of a kind. I have shared food here with my parents, my grandparents, my friends from England and New York, my dog, my husband and his family, I even had my bridal lunch in here. But what I'm really grateful for more recently, is how welcoming everyone here is to my toddler as well. Well-behaved kiddos will be well appreciated!
We looked this place up on our first day in New Orleans but ended up being too busy to stop by until our last day—and I’m still mad at myself for not trying it sooner. Everything was phenomenal. The service, the vibe, the food—every part of the experience was spot on. It easily ended up being one of the best restaurants we tried during our trip. This is one of those places you wish you had found earlier so you could go back more than once. I will absolutely be making a stop here the next time I’m in New Orleans.
Welcoming and friendly environment that offers a great coffee selection and a large food menu. Great location in Marigny. Nice that they accept credit card tap to pay also. Strong hot 20oz latte for $7.65 after tax & tip. Highly recommend. 😊
