Not sure what’s going on here but I believe this is a Jamaican joint. What’s confusing is that they are serving tacos amongst other none Jamaican food plates. Anywho. Decided to try their calamari , it was decent at best. They served it with some green sauce. That my ppl , was not it! Also had their bbq ribs. Ribs were dry to the bone! I won’t comment on the bbq sauce , cause for what!? It’s pre-packaged bbq sauce 🤷 Rice was good. Sweet plantains were dry!
The food and service was amazing. The sauces have an unfamiliar flavor that pairs well with the respective dishes. Definitely get the beef patties. The tacos are $4 on Tuesdays. Lanna was also an amazing waitress !
The drink menu here is just amazing. Lots of unique boozy concoctions. The food was great too, my ribs portion with sides was massive. Plenty of seating inside and out. Great corner location right on Magazine Street. Friendly staff, it was a great experience.
This awesome spot has a very big diverse menu with options from salads to stews to tacos. I recommend you get the 2 Dat option when ordering the tacos as it’s not overwhelming. The champagne is amazing and ideal at $34 a bottle when each class is nine dollars. Emma has got to be one of the kindest people we met while spending time in New Orleans. She’s a genuine, wonderful bartender and one of the reasons we love New orleans is for people just like this. A special note if you are a coleslaw fan this is the place for you. It’s not too oily. It has vinegar and it is wonderfully made. I cannot wait to start my trip here when touring the garden district when I’m here next.
Truly love this place. Food was amazing, lots of flavor. Highly recommend the house salad and a few tacos. The green chili chicken taco has some heat. I loved it. Our server( wish I could remember his name. He was so amazing) . Love the neighborhood and love this place. Its a must !!!!
