Great place for lunch. We had the scotch eggs as a special. It was perfect. The sausage was done and eggs were jammy. With a New Orleans flair they put a little pickled vegetables (possibly pepperocini )on it for some flair. Do not sleep on this special. We had 3 in total Also had the horse radish roast beef poboy. It was heavenly. They have possibly the best gumbo in the area. It was a little thin but made up for it in flavor. Finally the best key lime pie rounded out the meal. If was creamy and yellow. Iykyk. Great place come back often.

BBQ shrimp po boy and gumbo were brilliant, best we have had during our New Orleans trip. So glad we came! The special mac n cheese was amazing too. The beef po boy was good, but a bit too creamy and needed a bit more oomph with the horse radish. Love this place and will be coming back next time am in New Orleans :)

Liuzza’s by the Track is a true New Orleans gem—unpretentious, local, and full of character. The BBQ Shrimp Poboy is the star here and an absolute must-order. It’s everything you want in a classic New Orleans po’boy. Simple, satisfying, and done right. Don’t skip the fried green tomatoes—they’re crispy, flavorful, and a perfect complement to the meal. A great shareable starter that really rounds out the experience. The rest of the menu delivers that same comfort-food feel, with hearty portions and authentic flavors that keep people coming back. The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, with that neighborhood vibe that makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit. Service is friendly and easygoing, adding to the charm. Overall, a must-visit spot if you want an authentic po’boy and a true taste of New Orleans without any fuss.

We had lunch there today. In total, we ordered the Catfish Platter, a cup of Seafood Gumbo, and the Signature Shrimp Poboy. We all liked the Catfish. It was very moist in a nice crust and it was well-seasoned. The bed of fries that it was on was a bit greasy and a bit on the salty side. None of us enjoyed it too much. We all thought the gumbo was tasty, but I found it weirdly too oily for my liking. The Signature Shrimp Poboy was not bad. Sadly, it just was not very memorable. And as a signature dish, that makes it disappointing. Service was on point, and the atmosphere was just quirky enough to be fun. But overall, it's a toss up whether we would go back the next time we are in town.

I stopped in for lunch yesterday, my first time. I ordered the BBQ Shrimp Po-boy, which was excellent; huge portion, loaded with shrimp, and very flavorful. Kaysee was an excellent and attentive server with as much personality as the Po-boy. There's a lot of street parking. I arrived when they opened and a line was already forming. There didn't appear to be a lot of seating and the place filled up quickly but the staff was taking orders and getting them out quickly. The Apple Berry Rangoon a la mode was the dessert special and a must try. I will return to try the roast beef po-boy soon.
