Hot & Cajun on Iberville St. was on my itinerary all week to try and was finally able to fit it tonight for dinner. And all I can say was WOW! I did the Build Your Own seafood combo with a lobster tail and 2 clusters of snow crabs in the mild house Cajun seasoning and honestly have never had better seasoned seafood. I sat at the bar and Stevie took care of me while I dined. Exceptional worker and an even better person. Ended the meal with their special beignets for dessert and left very happy with the overall experience!
Nice Cajun restaurant. The place is spacious and our server was nice and friendly. The seafoods were fresh and reasonable priced. We got a medium hot and it was perfect. I feel that the sauce is a bit salty but I feel that every restaurant in NOLA is salty anyway so you might not feel the same. We also got a fried catfish poboy sandwich and it was ok—nothing stood out but not bad. Overall, it’s a good restaurant and you won’t be dudappointed
Hot N Cajun was absolutely delicious! The previous reviews did not disappoint—they were right. Every bite was bursting with flavor. We were visiting to celebrate my birthday, and this was the perfect way to kick off the celebration. A special shoutout to our waiter, Cali, who was amazing! She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made our dining experience even better. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in town. Highly recommend!
Food was good. Seasoning is great. The line and wait can be a little long. I found a spot at the bar and avoided the wait. Its located right in the mix by Bourbon Street. I ordered the Ultimate Snow Crab boil and the Cajun wings with Cajun fries.
Awesome boil house and fried food restaurant. Bloody Mary's were Great and so was the food. Service was also pretty good, and you get plenty of food for your money. Everything came out wonderful. Definitely plan on coming back again as soon as possible.
