Ordered carrot cake with my meal of fried fish and shrimp. My sauces were missing and so was the carrot cake. I was only able to eat it breaded, bland and soggy fries with no ketchup either. This is a picture of my $40 dinner:
Ordered a shrimp poboy and jalapeño bombers after a concert and they were both so so good! Shrimp poboys are one of my favorite foods ever and this one is definitely up there on my list. The bread was perfect, not too hard and overpowering, and a good amount of shrimp. The jalapeño bombers were so so delicious, but they forgot to put the sauce in my bag! I would love to go back and try them with the sauce, but they are still good without it. Will definitely be eating here again!
Decided to stop cuz of the fish plate sign. Food was okay for a late nite snack, service was slow. But heard from others inside that the West Bank location is faster and food is better
First time in New Orleans and we happened upon this restaurant. The shrimp poor boy and crawfish pie were delightful. We also had a side of corn nuggets that were a fabulous addition! I think that was my favorite part of the meal! The restaurant was very clean and the staff were great as well. We highly recommend Hooks!
