Wonderful meal celebrating my Mom’s birthday. They greeted us with birthday wishes. The booth was fun and the whole place had a great vibe. Amy was an excellent server and even remembered all of our names by the end of the night. We all ordered filets and shared a few sides. All excellent! Prices for food and drinks were very reasonable. Wonderful value. We’ll be back!!!
We unfortunately had a pretty disappointing experience at Crescent City Steak House. We were a big group (around 10 adults and 5 kids) and had a reservation, but the kitchen seemed completely overwhelmed all night. Orders were taking forever to come out, and things just felt very disorganized. The tomahawk steak we were served was also completely off. It smelled strongly of ammonia, and everyone at the table noticed it right away. They did acknowledge and replace it, but it was pretty alarming that it was served at all. I know this place is a classic and people really love it, so maybe we caught them on a bad night, but I left very confused about the hype. The prices are decent, but not dramatically cheaper than many nicer steakhouses in the city with much more consistent food and service.
Let’s talk about feeling like you’re eating at your momma’s house! With absolutely delicious steaks on the menu! A total throw back, except this place has not changed since it first opened! They know what they are doing. Go get yourself some steaks (and onion rings)! Fabulous dining experience. Next time, we get a booth!! IYKYK
Had a beautifully cooked ribeye. And the augrauten potatoes were delicious. You're going to pay a minimum 60$ for a steak, but it's well worth it. If you go there early in the day you won't need a reservation. But in the evening you'll need one.
Excellent place. We went on sunday at 4 pm. The place is nice, not so big but very comfortable. The people is very kind. We ordered cesar ans house salads, rib-eyes, filet, sirloin, potatoes, mushroom, red wine, orange juice and coke. Everything was delicious, there are parking. I recommend here a lot
