Kendrick was great to us! The beignets were my favorite part of the meal! The charbroiled oysters are great if you like oysters too! Beats some of the nicer restaurants that serve them in the French Quarter!

Got a seat at the bar for an early dinner. Bartender was lovely but not well-informed on food allergies. I asked if the fries were safe for gluten allergies and asked about cross contamination, and she said there's no cross contamination at their restaurant because they make their fries straight from potatoes (lol). My charbroiled oysters - which I'd ordered with request for no bread - then arrived with bread atop the oysters, and it seemed clear she hadn't checked with the kitchen or relayed my allergies. So everything looked great but I couldn't trust that any of the food was safe for me.

The crawfish pupusas brought us in, but the service, and every other thing we had was so good. The beet salad will change your life, trust me. Definitely going to be making this a go to spot when I'm in the city

Such a great spot if you’re looking for some good food, service and drinks! They offer a great twist on some of the favorites such as crab beignets which is nothing like what you would think when craving beignets. These were so light, fluffy and filled with crab goodness! The blue crab claws were also amazing! Tender pieces of claw meat always shelled and easy to eat. The pupusas were also another hit with the crawfish! And the potatoes that came paired with the omelet stole the show! Large pieces of baked potatoes, so crispy and well seasoned! You have the choice of sitting outdoor or indoor and even at the bar. It just opened when we went so the service was quick! Highly recommend!!
