Stayed for a 2 day weekend, great location, rooms super clean, like new, cold A/C, staff was great!! Shower pressure was awesome and hot hot water! Free breakfast was a plus with fresh selections and the coffee was delicious!! Great birthday getaway and this hotel made it comfortable.

Spacious room, convent location & easy check in! The bar had great drinks and a shuffleboard table. Our room had a brick wall for a view but it wasn’t terrible considering we usually like a really dark room at night. Valet had our car to us within the 15 min time mark. We could have easily had our child spend the night in the living room and have enough space for the 3 of us. Will definitely stay here again!!

The Mercantile is such a refreshing change from the standard hotel experience! I loved the history of the building as an old spice factory—you can still see that industrial soul in the exposed brick and high ceilings. The suites are vibrant, spacious, and artfully decorated. It feels like staying in a trendy local loft rather than a hotel room. 5 stars for the character, the cleanliness, and the amazing staff!

This hotel made my first trip to New Orleans absolutely amazing—it was clean, beautiful, and offered excellent customer service. They feature valet parking and a lovely bar in the lobby. The staff treated me wonderfully, and there was a beautiful little touch: "there was a record player in the room," complete with vintage vinyl records featuring jazz and blues music. I didn't even want to leave the hotel because it had everything right there. 5 stars!🫶🏻✅✅

My stay at the Mercantile Hotel was absolutely satisfying. When I first arrived I was a little disappointed with the location because I was there to celebrate my birthday. However, the lobby ambiance was really nice and once I got to my room, I was overly fulled with joy. When you walk in, you have a living room, which is separated from the bedroom. I loved this as the living room has a couch, a chair, a desk and separate tv. Then you walk to the bedroom which was nice and comfortable. Lately, I have been staying at a few hotels where noise has been an huge issue. This hotel was very quiet which was a need for me. You have access to control the heating and cooling which I appreciated. The location is closer to Canal street, but a 12 to 15 minute walk to Bourbon Street. Which is a bit of a distance, but I didn't mind the walk. The hotel is close to the RiverWalk Outlet mall. They also provide umbrellas at the desk for you to sign in and out. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.
