This is my second stay at Hotel Le Marais. I was delighted to see that Pierre was still the first face I saw when entering. He is a delight, as are all the other front desk staff. The location is perfect, the water pressure is amazing, and I've never had any trouble with noise. Overall, fantastic stay in a good location in The Quarter.

As an interfaith wedding rabbi and officiant, I have had the privilege of officiating weddings in many memorable venues over the years. What made Hotel Le Marais so special was its ability to create an intimate and stylish celebration in the very heart of the French Quarter. From the moment guests arrived, there was a sense of discovering a hidden retreat tucked away amid the energy of New Orleans. The courtyard, with its lush greenery, tranquil pool, and inviting atmosphere, provided a setting that felt private and relaxed while remaining unmistakably connected to the charm of the French Quarter. As someone who spends a great deal of time observing how a venue shapes a wedding experience, I appreciated that Hotel Le Marais focused on creating meaningful gatherings rather than large-scale productions. The boutique nature of the property encouraged connection and conversation, allowing family and friends to feel genuinely present with one another throughout the celebration. What I remember most was the balance between modern elegance and New Orleans character. The venue felt contemporary and sophisticated while still embracing the unique atmosphere that makes the French Quarter such a beloved destination. It created a celebration that felt both stylish and deeply personal. The staff was professional, attentive, and a pleasure to work with throughout the event. Their hospitality helped create a seamless experience and allowed the couple and their guests to simply enjoy the occasion. I would gladly recommend Hotel Le Marais to any couple looking for a wedding venue that combines boutique hospitality, intimate French Quarter charm, and a beautiful courtyard setting designed for meaningful celebrations. It is a wonderful reminder that some of the most memorable weddings are not the largest ones, but the ones that bring people together in a truly special place.

This is a charming and cozy little hotel just steps from the bourbon Street action. You would never know that when you are inside as it is super quiet. They have comfy beds and great A/C. There is no restaurant onsite but the Cafe Beignet around the corner is a great place to get breakfast.

I chose this hotel for its classic charm and prime location right in the French Quarter. Everything was within walking distance, which made exploring super easy. I arrived during the tail end of the Jazz & Heritage Festival, so some streets were blocked off. I had to walk about a block and a half with my luggage, but the energy from the music and crowds made it part of the experience. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. My room was clean and perfectly suited for a solo traveler—simple, comfortable, and a good place to recharge between outings. A couple of things to note: the elevator can be slow and a bit unpredictable at times, and I did spot a small cockroach in the bathroom one morning. Not ideal, but it only happened once during my stay. Overall, this is an older hotel with some quirks, but the location and kind staff made it a pleasant experience. A good option if you plan to spend most of your time out enjoying the city.

We visited on Easter weekend, and I will give Hotel Le Marias a 9/10. Parking was so simple in a secure parking garage across the street. The front desk staff was welcoming and friendly, let us check in early (Pierre) and gave suggestions on places to eat. The cleaning staff was on top of it, cleaned our room daily and were very nice. The location was 10/10. We walked the entire French Quarter with ease, and were able to return to the room at times during the day, then get right back to exploring. The hotel bartender was also a 10/10. FRANK-was awesome! He is the perfect bartender and you'll be friends with him before leaving. I only say 9/10 for the hotel as a whole because it is slightly outdated, but can be overlooked for the location, and the amazing people working there. If you are thinking about booking, I would recommend-it was great!
