I stayed here for 1 week and while the interior no-windows room felt a little strange, I spent most of my time out in the city, so it was fine. The beds were comfortable the shower water pressure was amazing, and the courtyard was a lovely place to sit for a while. The staff were very friendly and helpful - even after my stay. I had left a couple items in my room and didn't realize until days after leaving. They had kept my items and mailed them back to me for a reasonable cost.

Elysia was incredibly rude and curt, spewing information that was different from the website very disrespectfully in regard to parking. Room is okay; bed with a desk and TV- nothing high end. Courtyard area is quaint and nice, but don’t get a pool overlook room because there are kids enjoying it all throughout night and the walls are very thing. At 10:30, we were being ushered to checkout when there is an 11am checkout sign posted in the lobby. Overall, the location is good but the service is lacking.

Had a wonderful stay at French Market Inn in New Orleans. The location is absolutely perfect — right in the heart of the French Quarter and within walking distance of so many iconic spots, while still feeling comfortable and relaxing. The room was clean, cozy, and nicely updated without losing the authentic atmosphere. Most importantly, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating throughout my stay. They made the whole experience feel smooth and enjoyable from beginning to end. Would definitely stay here again on my next trip to New Orleans.

A “good” hotel is TOTALLY dependent on what SPECIFIC things are important to the guest staying there. Here is what I want in a NOLA hotel: 1) A BOUTIQUE hotel: a small hotel that is NOT part of a chain 2) a hotel that looks and feels like New Orleans: charming, unique, historic.,.NOT a slick /modern generic building that could easily look like one in Akron or Peoria…. 3) location in the quarter OR the Garden District…not on Canal or in the Warehouse District And the French Market Inn delivers it all! It OOZES fabulous New Orleans charm! Quaint brick courtyard, French doors, staircases, little balconies and hallways…there is NO DOUBT that you are in a historic French Quarter building! There is parking available directly across the street. There is someone there to help you with your luggage. The front desk staff is very friendly and wonderfully welcoming.. Café Dumonde is across the street and down a block or two. Tujacques famous restaurant is one block down on the same side of the street. You don’t have the craziness of Bourbon Street, but you have ALL the charm of the French Quarter and a perfect FQ location. . But if you like generic big box giant chain hotels with a lobby bar offering overpriced drinks, and tons of screaming kids and families running all throughout the lobby then FMI is NOT the one for you. If you love, pure charm and Real French Quarter New Orleans style in the French market Inn is absolutely perfect for you.

What a beautiful inn. Old timey, classy, gorgeous. Clean building and rooms. Quaint and charming lobby and courtyard. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The location can't be beat, walking distance to everything and right across the street is a trolly station, Riverboat cruise, and tour kiosk. One of our bus tours actually departed from there as well. Super convenient. My only critique would be maybe adding soft close door hinges, they do slam pretty loudly and jolted me out of my sleep a couple times. That would not deter me from staying here again. Highly recommend and plan on coming back. Thank you for a lovely stay!
