I just received the most incredible 90 minute massage from Lydia, and I am so excited to have found a great massage therapist in the city. Not only did she focus on a should pain problem I've been having but she worked out tension in other areas I didn't even know where there. I can't wait to come back and try the Sauna and float next. Highly recommend
My first experience at Float Nola was superior. The space and atmosphere is beautifully designed and everything feels so relaxing. The sauna is like a sweat tent on a room so you have the room all to yourself and you get to lay down during your time in the sauna. The cold plunge tub shares a room with your sauna bed. I appreciated the running water of the cold plunge tub while I was in the sauna. They provide everything you need to go from one room/session to the other. I left the sauna/cold plunge and went straight into my float session. The float tub is also a private room with a shower for rinsing before and washing after. There are towels, robes, soaps, earplugs, etc. they have gone above and beyond to think of all the things you may need during your time there. I’m recovering from a painful lower back injury and this was exactly what I needed. I will definitely be back!
Truly wonderful establishment. BIG spotlight on Lydia, an all-star bodywork specialist. Calming atmosphere from the moment you walk in. Friendly, welcoming staff. I have received several services here from Lydia, including a facial, reflexology, cupping massage, and more. Lydia is a true professional who knows what she is doing and can talk you through it so you are at ease and feel knowledgeable about what is going on in your body and why she is targeting it. She truly curates a calming, healing environment. If you have the chance to book with her, I strongly recommend it. 5 out of 5. Will definitely book again.
We had an absolutely incredible experience at Float NOLA! We decided to go because our flight landed at 5 a.m., and the hotel wasn’t ready until the afternoon—so it was the perfect way to relax and reset. I treated myself and a friend to a massage, a facial, and reflexology, and each service was pure magic. The atmosphere was so calming, and Lydia and Cecil were incredibly attentive. Lydia correctly assessed my skin and used the best products for me. What really stood out to me was when I reached out a month later about products that they used during my facial - they were so kind to help. Gave me a very detailed and informational list. Lydia even said I could text them anytime with questions. I can’t recommend Float NOLA enough—Lydia and Cecil made it a perfect experience, and I’ll definitely be back!!!
