I kept hearing about Ruby Slipper from friends and even people I met while visiting New Orleans, so I had to see what the hype was about and it absolutely lived up to it. I ordered the catfish & grits, and it was amazing. The catfish was perfectly seasoned and crispy, while the grits were rich, creamy, and full of flavor. Every bite was worth it. The location was another huge plus. It was only about a 7-minute walk from my hotel and just a block away from the casino, making it an easy stop for breakfast before exploring the city. The service was friendly, the atmosphere had that classic New Orleans brunch vibe, and the food came out fresh and hot. If you're visiting New Orleans or you're a local looking for a great brunch spot, Ruby Slipper is definitely worth checking out. I'll absolutely be back the next time I'm in town.

OMG this place was amazing! The food was delicious and the service was great! We started with the French Toast Bites which had the perfect sweetness, especially paired with their coffee. We ordered the Trifecta Benedict and Cajun Crawfish Breakfast Scramble with Fried Catfish, fried to perfection. Everything was delicious, would definitely recommend.

Was looking for a brunch spot and a couple who heard us recommended this spot. The line was long but we were seated quickly. The food was fantastic from start to finish, and the beignets were the highlight — warm, fluffy, perfectly powdered with sugar, homemade whipped cream and peaches was absolutely delicious. Tried the peacemaker and the egg cochon is definitely must try. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. Great atmosphere and friendly service too. Definitely a place worth coming back to!

A Southern comfort breakfast is kind of morning meal that feels hearty, warm and deeply satisfying. Fried chicken with biscuits at breakfast/brunch is pure delightful treat. At this place, the chicken is seasoned just right and crunchy with every bite. Paired with a warm biscuit and a drizzle of honey; that is a hearty meal. I have to say the fried green tomatoes a surprise hit. The tangy of tomatoes cuts through the crust and keeps the taste a balance of tart and sweet in perfect counterbalance. It is just delicious and satisfying with every bite. A delicious brunch/breakfast you choose when you want something good that sets the tone of the day. Cheers!

Whoa- what an incredible brunch spot! The options on the menu were incredible- I definitely want to come back and try their mimosa flight and cocktails, their beignets and other pancakes. What I did order was incredible. The white chocolate bread pudding pancakes were sooooo good and portions were plentiful- they were also a little gooey, which is just how I like my pancakes. If you’re a vegetarian make sure you tell your waiter so that they don’t put bacon on the side! The biscuit side was really good, but it was almost overshadowed by the butter it came with- delicious! I got a vanilla coffee and it was sooo yummy, it was sweet with lots of milk, just how I like my coffee. The restaurant decor was basic, nothing elaborate, but with food this good, you don’t have to dress things up so I didn’t mind one bit.
