My favorite restaurant in the neighborhood. Sit at the bar and enjoy a cocktail and a delicious meal with Jason. The steaks are served on a cast iron skillet cooked to perfection. Don’t forget to try the bread pudding.

Visiting NOLA for a few days and found this place on Google Maps. I’m glad I stopped by on a Tuesday evening at around 5pm. I got seated at the bar right away and got the happy hour menu 4:30pm-6pm as well as the main menu. I had to go with the double cut Cheshire pork chop and got a glass of happy hour Malbec wine. My bartender Jason was helpful with recommendations and letting me know specials of the day, he was very friendly and fun to talk to! Food came and I was amazed at the size of my pork chop, it was massive about the size of my hand and thick cut. First cut into it was flavourful from the caramelized crust and the juicy well cooked centre. The green bean creole glaze that came with it was paired perfectly to create a balanced dish! I was also lucky enough to get to try the deep fried oyster and it was delicious! Highly recommend this spot, take your chance with walk ins as they get busy later in the evening.

Everything we tried was a knockout - and Jimmy was a fantastic waiter with amazing service, unparalleled knowledge, and genuine friendliness. We will absolutely be back. We had the gumbo (amazing) blueberry and brie salad (fantastic) steak tartar (you'll have to ask my partner I don't eat raw hamburger haha) the pork belly (to DIE for), the scallops (phenomenal) and the bison (mind blowing). Alongside a few well crafted drinks - one hell of a NOLA evening. 10/10, would recommend.

A neighborhood gem. I eat here every time I’m in town. The menu features a nice variety of regional dishes with all proteins represented. This week I had the Bison Rib Eye with fresh made chimichurri that was excellent. The meat was perfectly cooked and came with several fried oysters that were delicious. It’s a sizable portion and every bite was juicy and had great flavor. I also ordered the pork belly and double cut pork chop. An incredible tender and juicy cut of pork belly was shared and was a big hit at our table. The pork chop was huge and perfectly prepared. I ordered a side of the chimichurri and it was a great combination too. This place is consistently delivering great dining experiences to guests that discover this local gem. Dining at the bar is a great way to watch the kitchen and all that goes in to preparing the meals. Great bartenders and servers, plus, it’s locally owned too. Highly recommended!
