They abused us (in a great way). The food was wonderful. Flavorful and plentiful. Martine was our waitress and she was very friendly and extremely nice and attentive and the lady that was new! This was my last and best spot. So glad I switched and came here. This is definitely a jewel! If you come to NOLA but this on your list. I had the seafood platter, soft shell crab, shrimp, catfish, oysters ... yes fried but it was so good.i added the bacon brussel sprouts to my order and OMG delicious. THANK YOU OTIS for my final meal in NOLA. If you order the shrimp pasta they fix your pasta in the Parmesan wheel on flatbread.
If I could give 6 stars I would. This was one of the most exceptional dining experiences we have ever had (considering we’re locals, that says a lot). The food and drinks were impeccable and the service was even better. Our waitress Kristin was top tier. We started with the crab cake appetizer and it was truly the best crab cake I’ve ever had. We decided to go big, both getting an entrée (crab stack and gulf fish) and splitting the pasta experience. We chatted with the manager while he made our paste, table side, and he ended up sending us dessert on the house. I now have a go-to restaurant to send family and friends to when they’re in town. Fantastic job Otis team, we will certainly be back
Okay so my first time trying this place was Essence fest 2026, I must say that it was absolutely delightful from the moment we walked in customer service was everything, our waiter was excellent from knowing the menu down to knowing the perfect time to approach the table, he was everything! The food was absolutely fantastic alcoholic beverages was on point! This place also has their fresh seafood on display sitting in ice! Otis seafood house is a must try whenever in New Orleans!
A phenomenal food experience from start to finish. We were greeted warmly at the hostess stand. Martine served us the brightest, warmest smile and the best recommendations. We started with the chargrilled oysters and the jumbo crab cakes. EXQUISITE. Fresh, flavorful, and sooo delicious. My non-oyster-eating husband ate half of them and wouldn’t stop raving and singing and dancing about how good they are. The crab cake was made to perfection. I ordered the pork chop as my entree, and the cut of meat was so juicy and cooked perfectly. It was served with the best creamed spinach I have ever had in my life. Our daughter shared the pork chop with me. She is the pickiest eater, and even she gave the meal a chef’s kiss. They were able to accommodate our request for the sides of rice for our daughter. The seafood tower was a generous portion of well seasoned blackened gulf fish, large shrimp, and that perfect crispy crab cake. While we dined, the owner visited our table to personally check that everything was perfect. Personalized, sincere conversation and genuine pride in his staff make the mark of superb hospitality and management, which sets this establishment and experience as a cut above the rest. The crème brûlée, bread pudding, and chocolate ganache cake were the sweetest ending to a remarkable dining experience. Bravo!!
We decided to have dinner here as we were walking around the quarter with no plans. We loved this new place. The staff was so friendly and our server Martine, was super attentive. Portions are large and prices are reasonable. The chicken kjun was delicious as was the shrimp platter and it was HUGE and could have easily fed two people. Chargrilled oysters were also excellent! I would highly recommend and we will definitely be back on our next trip to New Orleans!
