You have to get the Brussels sprouts and the gumbo!! Love their decor and vibes. I’d give this place a 4.5 tbh because the short rib was dry and the server took awhile. I’d still come back for those brussel sprouts though. Also, prices were not bad at all!
No idea of this place is not five stars straight across the board. Or family are here last night and had an exceptional dining experience. The atmosphere is a VIBE. It is absolutely gorgeous inside. From the moment you walk in the staff is absolutely top notch. So kind and courteous. The food, AMAZING. There are so many flavors and I swear they evolve. Every bite is an experience. My husband said his gumbo was the best he’s ever had. I swear I closed my eyes for half of my radiatore in an attempt to heighten my taste experience. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Don’t walk there, RUN. You will not be disappointed!!
Went here for Mothers Day and it was a sensational experience. I’ve also been here for girls’ nights in the last 6 months. The food options are truly wonderful, I’ve never had a bad bite of food there - and each time I go, I’m with a group and we order a bunch of dishes to try everything - everything is outstanding, including cocktails. The service is always very good, and the aesthetic is great if you want to take a ton of pictures. Chambongs are so fun, and the Mile High Pie is a non-negotiable. The lounge area is great for photos, and taking a trip up to Hot Tin to check out the view and sip a cocktail before or after the meal is the cherry on top. On weekends there’s usually a band in Bayou Bar, so you get at least 3 different vibes in one building between Jack Rose, Tin Roof, and Bayou Bar. Love love love it. Amazing EVERY time!!
Staff were outstanding, 10/10. Catherine did a fantastic job discussing food and checking in. The restaurant was visually stunning. Drinks were good, but food was hit or miss. The duck risotto was very disappointing and undercooked; the manager tried to say it was just al dente, but it was very crunchy and needed about 5 more minutes to reach al dente. They comped it and I got the beet salad, which was pretty but half the beets were too hard to pierce with a fork without effort and noise. It tasted very good, though. The filet mignon was fine, but closer to medium than medium rare, and I wouldn't get it again for $60. For dessert I got the mile high pie, which was incredible and I will praise for the rest of my life. All in all it was beautiful and staff were 10/10, but the food quality wasn't worth the cost except the dessert.
A great visit! We enjoyed the delicious and creative New Orleans focused dishes. Julia; our server, was very nice and attentive. The dining room's decor is attractive and sumptuous. Jeannette S.; Jack Rose Front of House Manager, is a gem—she is such a people person! Her upbeat demeanour made us feel at home. Like a conductor of a finely tuned orchestra, Jeannette set the tone and tempo of our fine dining experience. On a previous night, we relaxed in the restaurant’s whimsical vintage themed lounge.
