The selection is small but delicious at the restaurant, Nikkei Izakaya. Drinks are great. I recommend the Hibiscus Margarita with a couple of lime wedges squeezed in. Great indoor and outdoor spaces for the World Cup watch parties! Had a great time!
The Broadside, way up on Broad, but worth the trip. I've been to several events here during JazzFest weeks over the last 5 years. It's grown a lot, into a real nice venue with a big outdoor space with stage and bar service area, a good sized indoor stage area and a beautiful bar space interior opposite. The food menu is Japanese inspired, quite unique. **Note: The menu for ordering using the QR code doesn't always match the menu as printed, so no way to order some of the items listed. There are picnic tables outside making the Broadside a great place to hang with a group of friends and see bands. Very comfortable.
Such a fantastic little area to visit , they host some awesome concerts … whether it’s indoors or outside their venue. They also rent out their space for special occasions (engagement parties , birthdays etc) Everything is decorated gorgeously and the restrooms are very clean. There is also a bar / sushi restaurant. Great local fun / find. Plenty of parking - whether valet or street (safe) !
This is a great outdoor venue for music. We went there for Earth Day and saw Gov 't Majit, Valley Baby, and the Soul Rebels. Great music and a fun crowd and the crayfish was delicious.
We attended a Zydeco festival here. The ambiance was nice. The drinks seemed watered down and the beer was not cold whatsoever. The food was okay. Response to the owner; These pics are definitely from the vendors that were onsite, and yes the bartenders said the beer cooler was only 37°. Your response alone will be the reason I don't return.
