came for a company holiday party— the staff at dodie’s are the ultimate hype people, and also so incredibly kind. the place, the people, the drinks, and the vibe made for a great time. my favorite part: dodie’s handed out percussion instruments to play during the karaoke portion of the night. FYI, i believe they have karaoke every saturday night. important recognition: the bathrooms are so clean!

I’ve now been here a few times and can confidently say that it is one of those best kept secrets that you hope to find when you’re visiting a place. But I live here… and that makes it all the better. Amazing music, great vibe, friendly staff and one night there was even a pop-up serving fried catfish and delicious sides. It is the epitome of a New Orleans neighborhood juke joint, highly recommend.
