***Update Review*** I left a 1 star review because I’d one person. I had mentioned if the hotel team replied I would change it to reflect my total stay minus the one person issue. I am updating because besides that one person, my stay was amazing. Thank you for replying to my review and taking into consideration my feedback. (First review) (1 star) How should I leave a One star review to one person, and a five star review to everybody else. The rooms were amazing. The location was amazing. The food at the restaurants and the hotel was amazing. The front desk people were amazing. A special shout-out to Daniela or Denelle front desk was amazing , but the person working at the store, Tatiana, was the reason I am leaving a one-star review. Once the hotel reads this review and responds to it, I will change it to a five-star because everything else was great except this one person that works at the cafe store. An item was simply marked at a certain price. The product itself did not have a price, but it had the sticker. I bought it. I noticed on the receipt the price was not what it was displayed. I asked Tatiana if she could do something about it. She simply almost gave me the cold shoulder. I told her that, and I showed her what was and how it was displayed, and she said, "Well, that's how it is." I went to the front desk. They assisted me, they helped me, and they got it right. Again, everything was perfect except this one person, Tatiana. Tatiana = bad service

We had an outstanding experience at Rosie’s Rooftop Bar at the Higgins Hotel, and a big part of that was our amazing server, Rudolph—better known as “Red Beans!” From the moment we were seated, Red Beans made us feel welcome with his warm smile, friendly personality, and genuine Southern hospitality. He was attentive without ever being intrusive, offered excellent recommendations, and made sure every detail of our meal was perfect. His sense of humor and positive attitude made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The food and atmosphere were excellent, but Rudolph’s exceptional service truly made this a five-star experience. Employees like Red Beans are the reason guests return and recommend a place to others. If you’re visiting Rosie’s Rooftop Bar, do yourself a favor and ask for Red Beans. Thank you, Rudolph, for making our visit to New Orleans so memorable.

My wife and I travel yearly to visit the WW2 Museum and stay at the Higgins and it is always an amazing experience. We ate at Rosie's one night and had breakfast and dinner the next day at Cafe Normandie. It was a wonderful experience, and we often highly recommend this hotel to friends and family. The WW2 photos and ambience is a very classy touch and that scent that greets you when you walk in is absolutely amazing! We also watched the fireworks from our room. Our goal is to one day stay in the Eisenhower suite!

6/24/26-I gave 2 stars because the room was really nice. The rooftop bar was great. The service at front desk was horrible and at the bar downstairs horrible. My bracelet broke in the lobby . Not 1 of the 3 people would come out to help me as I crawled around on the floor in fear someone should slip and fall on one of the beads. They were everywhere. I asked for help and they ignored me as they watched. I asked for a broom which took 15 minutes to show up. It was horrible. In the mean time im trying to make sure people aren't falling on the beads. After that I went to the bar when the I told the bartender I wanted a coke he was like that's it. Wow. Customer service at the Higgins is awful. The guy at the desk this morning was very helpful and sweet but the people yesterday were horrible. i would also like to comment on the lobby fragrance. It is toxic. you can not breathe. I worry for people with asthma. Its really horrible. Also I was with High ranking military personnel and They had the same experience with the staff at the desk. Those people should not be in customer service. They are horrible
