We had a great experience here!! The entire hotel is gorgeous and it’s walking distance to Frenchmen street which is very convenient. The Elysian Bar was beautiful and we had great pre dinner cocktails there. The staff was so friendly and helpful— Raina at the front desk was so kind! At the church we also got to go to Piety Market which has a bunch of vendors and shops and live music inside! It’s every 3rd Sunday so be on the lookout for that it’s very cool!

Good things: The property is absolutely beautiful as are the rooms. The pool is a little small, but still great. Elysian Bar is legitimately one of the best bars in the city. Bad Things: For the price point, the service is just not at the same level as it's peers. The service and hospitality seems phoned in at most times.

Beautiful hotel with incredible architecture. Service and personnel were top notch. Food and drinks were to die for. Diana went the extra mile to make all of us feel like home away from home. Oh and it smelled amazing!! :) Would love to return

Such a bummer to have to leave a less than 5 star review, because this hotel is so beautiful and we had such a delightful stay. Unfortunately, our last morning was sour enough to impact our feelings. I reached out (admittedly late, around 1:30am) to ask if we could check out at noon instead of 11. They have a live chat if no one is at the front desk, so I assumed this would be best. The person on the live chat said staying an hour later would be $50 extra, okay, fine. I then followed up via chat, sent nothing, sent my partner down to ask, who was told no because people were coming in to the rooms later (well, yes, it’s a hotel). I still hadn’t received a response on the chat so I followed up, where I was finally officially told no. If it is not possible to accommodate, that is truly no worries. I work in hospitality and understand how these things are. However, the language around it should be more specific if I now have to wake up earlier than I thought and rush out, on my last day in a beautiful place without an offer or an apology. Just so entirely disappointing, because we had been so enchanted by the place before this experience.

My stay at Hotel Peter & Paul was nothing short of magical. The design and decor alone are worth the visit—every space feels thoughtfully curated, rich with character, and beautifully layered with New Orleans charm. I stayed in the Loft Room, which was stunning, warm, and full of personality. It felt less like a hotel and more like a hidden retreat—artful, cozy, and inspiring. I was extremely impressed by how thoughtfully the décor supported the overall theme. From the warm, low ambient lighting to the long flowing curtains, every detail felt intentional—even the working rotary phone was a delightful and unexpected touch. The bar was equally impressive. Incredible ambiance, beautifully made cocktails, and a vibe that strikes the perfect balance between refined and relaxed. A very special shout-out to Deanne, whose service truly elevated my entire experience. She went above and beyond by offering me a private tour of the Church space and making sure I was familiar with all the amenities. Her warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Because of her—and because of the magic of this property—I’m already looking forward to returning (as well as considering other Ash properties). If you’re visiting New Orleans and want a place that feels special, soulful, and unforgettable, this is it.
