I'm usually pretty forgiving and impartial but the only thing that gave this place a 2 star was due to the fact corporate took care of our issues. First off be prepared for NO AC, unless you're down in the lobby. I mean MEDIOCRE at best inside of your room. (It makes sense because the entire building is like a easy bake oven from all of the windows.) If I hadn't had been so exhausted I would have left the very day I came. There wasn't any access to the pool for you to be able to cool off either. The gym was exactly what you expect, no complaints. You're in New Orleans, you expect to get a little hustle, but the lady that checked us in with the wrong key/ room (and refused to check us out was a nightmare to deal with, and this was from our very arrival . Her job should not be in customer service, and I don't say that lightly. I thought it was a one off "bad day" but dealing with her the following day proved that is just her standard way of being.) After getting everything sorted the manager was also extremely helpful. One of the only redeeming factors was the restaurant and bar tender. She and the rest of the staff were 5 star individuals, and service. Exactly what you would expect from a Hilton.
I wanted to write a review for the valet parking employees, each one that I came in contact with were very polite and very professional. Kay and Raheem helped me and my coworkers get all of our bags into our vehicle. We tipped accordingly of course. we had went to the NAA Apartmentalize so we had several bags a piece. They had patience with us while they waited for us to checkout, very friendly. Everyone at the hotel were very nice and seemed to enjoy their jobs. While at the convention center the employees at each of the little drink or food stations were not friendly at all, they all made us feel like we were inconveniencing them for ordering with them. So when we got to the hotel the friendly, nice and genuine service was very needed after our interaction with the convention center employees. I would recommend The Hilton 100% nice rooms, comfortable beds and the best service! Keep up the good work Hilton!
I came into town to visit family and had breakfast here during my stay. The breakfast was good, although I wish there were a few more options available on the buffet or menu. What truly made the experience memorable was the service. Devin was our server, and he was absolutely wonderful. He was friendly, attentive, and happy to answer any questions I had. He even took the time to give me some great lunch recommendations while I was in town. Mrs. D and Mrs. Sheila bring such positive energy to the dining room and really make guests feel welcome. The team you have here is one worth keeping. Their hospitality and customer service made a lasting impression, and I would gladly return because of them.
The hotel staff was wonderful. We were greeted by Camree and she quickly got us checked in. The breakfast buffet is really good and a great price. We received great service throughout our stay from Paul and Skylar. They were friendly and attentive! I also have to give a shout out to AJ at the bar! He was GREAT!! We would stop by to have a nightcap and good conversation after long day of exploring the city!
