Itinerary
Day 1: Nashville
Begin your trip in Nashville with a welcome meeting at 6 PM, followed by a leader-led orientation walk to get your bearings in Music City. An optional welcome dinner is available to experience the local music scene.
Day 2: Nashville
Visit the Country Music Hall of Fame, featuring memorabilia like Elvis Presley’s gold Cadillac. At Studio B, participate in a recording session with a professional sound engineer. Spend the afternoon visiting sites like the Johnny Cash Museum or exploring Nashville’s murals.
Day 3: Memphis
Travel to Memphis and visit the Stax Museum of American Soul Music at the original Stax Records site. The afternoon is free to explore Beale Street’s blues scene. Optional evening group dinner with live music is available.
Day 4: Memphis
Join a leader-led orientation walk of downtown Memphis, including the National Civil Rights Museum at the Lorraine Motel. Tour Graceland, the home of Elvis Presley. The evening is free for independent exploration.
Day 5: New Orleans
Arrive in New Orleans and enjoy a leader-led orientation walk to discover the city’s character. Sample local treats like beignets or explore the live music scene in the evening.
Day 6: New Orleans
Relax in the morning before a hands-on Cajun and Creole cooking class. Prepare and enjoy a signature local dish for lunch. Spend the afternoon exploring areas such as Frenchmen Street or Bourbon Street for live jazz and nightlife.
Day 7: New Orleans
Conclude the tour with a jazz brunch at The Court of Two Sisters featuring local dishes and live music. The trip ends around midday.
