I will absolutely be visiting again. From the staff, to the room, everything about this hotel is amazing 5 stars isn’t enough. The staff all around is amazing but the second shift is near and dear to our hearts. Rihyanna, Lisa, and andre are the nicest most wonderful people you can encounter in New Orleans thank you for all yall have done for us! If you ever have a pleasure of meeting these wonderful souls you are lucky! We love place D’Armes and we love New Orleans we will definitely be back :)
We had a wonderful stay at Place d'Armes! The location couldn't have been better—right in the heart of the French Quarter, making it easy to walk to everything. The hotel itself has so much authentic charm and really captures the character and elegance of old New Orleans. The staff was incredibly warm and hospitable throughout our stay. Although our room was smaller than a typical hotel room, it was beautifully furnished, cozy, and full of classic style that fit the historic atmosphere perfectly. The only downside was the valet parking. Our car was kept in a separate parking location, so we had to request an attendant to retrieve it whenever we needed it. The staff was always accommodating, but the process felt a bit inconvenient compared to having on-site parking. Patrice and Andrew was exceptional in their hospitality..at some point, Patrice went out of her way to make sure our stay was comfortable. Overall, the charm, location, and exceptional hospitality far outweighed the minor inconvenience. We'd happily stay here again.
I was a solo woman traveling to NOLA. This hotel was safe, clean, and everything I needed without all the frills. The room and bathroom were clean and remodeled. The front desk attendant Patrice was super nice and so was the valet. This hotel is within walking distance of everything but is nestled on a quiet street in the French Quarter. This is the perfect hotel, especially if you’re traveling by vehicle and need to park your car. Loved it and will definitely stay here again. Don’t forget your swimsuit just in case you want to cool off in the pool!
Excellent stay. Service was consistently attentive, professional, and accommodating. The rooms have genuine character, not generic, while still providing all the essential comforts. The interior courtyard is a standout feature, quiet, well maintained, and a welcome retreat. The location is ideal, with easy access to the French Quarter, Jackson Square, and the main attractions without sacrificing a sense of calm. Would absolutely stay here again.
